KIT OF PARTS - PREMIER PLUS (12 April 2004)

Where the assembly is flagged as being manufactured via sales order processing, a new option allows the assembly to be marked as a 'kit of parts'. Go to Assembly Enquiry and select the Final Product tab. With this ticked, further options specify whether the top level components are to be listed on the documents which are sent to a customer, i.e. quotation, sales order acknowledgement, despatch note, and invoice. Within Setup / Works order options / Sales order tab, the default values for these options can be set, but can be varied for each assembly.

KITS OF PARTS - PREMIER PLUS (06 June 2004)

A 'kit of parts' assembly (see April enhancements) will always generate a seamless works order line, even if 'make the works order seamless' is not ticked on the Setup / Works order options / Sales order tab.
